Honoring Missing Loved Ones On Your Wedding Day

There is no question that you want all of your loved ones together on your wedding day to help celebrate. Unfortunately, whether due to death or distance, that can not always be. Even though they can't be there physically, you can honor them in other ways.
Keep in mind that your wedding day is special and should be a happy occasion. A designated chair for someone who has passed away could be upsetting for those who are missing that person. Try subtle ways to incorporate them without making it a sad occasion for your guest.

Use Facetime or Skype to include family members or friends who are unable to attend.
Mention their names in the program.
If you are displaying pictures, this is great way to honor your loved ones who have passed away.
Attach one or two lockets to your bouquet.
Before the ceremony, light a candle in memory for those who can't attend.
